gooood show!
it was nicely filmed.
a war flick.
some parts were funny cuz i see it as a soldier's point
but then as i put myself in their shoes..
its not funny at all..
it was war.
there was a scene when the us soldiers killed the POWs
where the camera was directly in front of the gun..
it made me scared & uneasy.
that i was so helpless in front of a gun before i die.
is that what i will do?
i love how they wrote those letters
as a form of escape
as a form of longing
as a form of love
as a form of release
even if it was useless.
if it were in the future
this movie would've been called
"The bloggers of Iwo Jima."
watched it with a funny mix of people
shirls, livi, levi, veron, roy, shuz, germs, jon lee, gerald, hendra, joel, eugene & me
further more, many were watching the same show
and some others were watching dream girls
which ended slightly later than ours
it was crowded!
but it was fun!
i met my hagu there too.
i never expected to see her there,
in fact i never expected to meet her anywhere else
besides msn
it was short & brief
but somehow..
i was happy to see her..
very.
before i regretted not joining them for supper
heck, before i could even think
i drowned myself out into the laughter and fun of fellowship
thats what friends are for :)
was a great and enjoyable night
we should do this more often!
