yesterday's sermon was a timely & practical one!
recently have been talking & thinking about it
and really thank God for the timely reply!
Who am I?
Who are we?
Where are we going?
these questions, though very simple, have to be answered.
Choose to do what is right as a leader even if it's inconvenient.
In army we've always learnt to push responsibilities aka. taichi
delegating jobs is one thing, throwing it into someone's hands altogether without follow up is another
be responsible by accepting your responsibilities ;)
when no one wants to take the responsibility, take it! (eg.taking up sheep)
it's an opportunity to lead.
spiritual development is really important in one's life
and it's our task to develop it.
How's your relationship with God today?
is it better than last month?
if not, how are you improving it?
don't blame others for not teaching you, really.
there're many other resources to get the teachings
other than from your leaders
rely on God, not your leader.
i'm not saying don't trust your leader,
but don't always rely on that person to grow you/feed you
its our responsibility
even in other areas of our life.
our personal life direction
where we're headed, is it where God wants us to go?
skills & knowledge
are we constantly growing in them also?
how much you really desire something will show it.
don't let limitations restrict you!
eg. your dreams are for the animation industry but you can't draw for nuts
so do you just sit back and say "i can't draw, others are born with it, not me."?
then i challenge you to seek God, ask Him to equip you to do it!
don't restrict God because we think we cannot do it, instead let Him work through your disability and let it show!
remember,
a leader stops leading when he/she stops growing.
lets grow!! :D
next up: photos for prisc & david's birthday party.
fun night with alot of catching up to do! gosh i feel old.
mei mei asked me a very interesting question
and honest to say, i was caught off guard
she was surprisingly very supportive lol
and yes i do,
but not in that way! :p
