thankful

what a week!
i'm really thankful of it

i've learnt a fair bit of myself and found
many blind spots
some areas to change and work on
some values to re-inforce
some motives i need to question
and what are they based on?

was a lil put off when the answers weren't there
or what i thought it'd be
i've learnt to ask more important questions
over the many not-so-important
and those are the ones i should answer first.

really appreciate mei hua, joyce & david
for your constant probing and questioning
and if i may say,
being just plain kaypoh at times LOL
i really appreciate the concern!

many have asked me recently
"so what are you going to do after you ord?"
and i always say study overseas
they ask where
i say i dunno yet
and in truth, i really don't
i've always looked to japan for studies
but now i'm opening up more to other places too
eg. the states, korea, europe, australia, ntu
finance is a problem i'm gonna face
ntu being my cheapest alternative (not that i can get a place easily, its just, cheaper compared to other schools)
i never gave it a thought only till recently after hearing
about it more from friends
their requirements are a lil unique lol

gonna be selective in what i want to learn
especially in a broad field like media
it's easy to be a jack of all trades and a master of none
many people are like that, its practical and you can do more jobs too
but with many people like that, how are we different from them? ;)
God has been telling me to focus too, after all,
we're called to excel in the things we do aren't we?

celebrated jon lee's birthday last night
it was quite fun i must say lol
didn't expect so many people
all was going well to surprise him
that is, until nell messaged g
that she's sorry that she can't attend due to something
and that she'll tell jon too.
to this g replied
"no! don't!"
it was too late.
