personally

yesterday ps jeff gave a simple sharing about faith.
that God is and should be the answer to our problems and needs
and its a gentle reminder for me
being in ministry for a long time
i've been trained to handle situations
to be independant

alas when problem arises
i'll do with all my knowledge to solve it
and especially if its very technical
it gets solved quite fast
its a first reaction.
over the years i've looked to God for help lesser

self-sufficient.
i know i can do it.
the problems i can't, i still seek God

but i'd very much like to depend on God after all.
King David is rather amazing in this aspect
and i'm still amazed too

Psa 108:12-13
"Give us aid against the enemy,
for the help of man is worthless.
With God we will gain the victory,
and he will trample down our enemies."

seeking God's counsel first and foremost.
it all starts and ends with You.

recently 2 close friends of mine shared with me
joyous news
that their within grasp of their dreams
and i was really glad for them
God is indeed faithful!
it definately got me thinking too

one has got into a course she's been wanting to
after a long hiatus
and God has really provided her much during this journey
many uncertainties and difficulties but one thing was certain was that
God was still with her :)
and another, my classmate, whom i distinctly remember told me
"jus, i will want to work in pixar." its been his dream.
and he made it to the states to study
he faced many hardships, really
relocated a few times, money/job issues, friends,etc
but jus the other day after nearly 2yrs
he recieved a referral to work as story production assistant in Pixar
he's worked hard and persevered
though he's not really a believer
i do hope he looks back and really praise God for the blessings that came along
not only he got the referral, he was offered a job by Nickelodeon and was also called up by Disney for an offer too. :)

when God bless, He blesses abundantly.

its not abt the outcome. never was.
its the process that made it.

it's my turn!

no eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those
who love him.
