personally

my cousin described her as a true peranakan matriach
i thought so too in every way.
we sang to her 2 songs in malay
one of which was bengawan solo

i teared as we sang it

but i guess she could finally leave in peace :)
bye mama, you'll be missed.


do pray for my family though,
family politics are kicking in since she's the last of my
grandparents to go..

something my nephew shared in a service really hit me
was that God wanted her to go in peace..
but something was holding her back
and now, i'm praying against it
by Your grace and mercy.

CNY is gonna be different now..
