was reading up on psa 115
not to us but to You be the glory.

often times when we ask God to help us in our work
like presentations, productions, school, projects..etc
who gets the credit when God answers our prayer?

as an artist, i think its really important
to seek God for help in this area cuz as an
artist, we usually place alot of value in our works,
for some, their sense of worth and identity come from what they can do.
and as such, sometimes we unknowingly lift ourselves higher than Him
as God works through for us in our works.

why do you want God to help you in that project?
can He have the glory?
or is it you trying to please the client?
sure you may say that if its not a "holy" request, God won't answer
but God works in mysterious ways :) His ways are higher than ours.

as an artist, we should always ask ourselves,
where does our identity come from?
sure it's easy to say a child of God
but why is it that we get discouraged cuz of our inability?
has our abilities become who and what we are?
don't let it be.
i'm still growing from that and it's not easy
but i must say, it's rewarding
depend on God to equip us.

sometimes it becomes a norm that you'd start to expect God to
answer your requests (especially older christians)
you'd start demanding impatiently

then i ask you, who are you to demand?
do you demand from a King?
or do you humbly come, bow down and seek help.
who is God to you?

i found myself demanding more too..
forgive me.
i'll give You glory due

i guess all in all, whats your motive behind all that you do?

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

God is really faithful :)
He remembered i wanted a new bible even though i didn't really voiced out
and also of a prayer request i didn't voice out either
but was revealed to david when he prayed for me which really
comforted me cuz then i really know that God has been listening





guard my heart
guide my heart and my ways.
help me be realistic and not hope in things unnecassarily
especially now..
