1Cor 13:1-7
Love
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Am i like a resounding gong?
as i reflected back about easter
how God sent His only son into this sinful world
He knew what was to happen
the people would deny Him
and they'd toture and kill Him
crucified on that cross..
even His son knew what was to happen..
but Jesus had compassion for the people despite it
if you knew that you were going to get murdered by this very same people, would you be compassionate to them??
God was.
He ain't dumb, but that's His love.
we may think why didn't God do something about it, thats cuz we can't understand His action,
His love.
and He, sent his son, an innocent men, to die.
and when He died for one, He died for all, God declared that.
died for everyone one of those who whipped Him, insulted, tortured, etc on that very day.

Jesus could've stopped that hammer from going down onto the nail.
He could've killed everyone there and then
He could've wipe that place out of history
after all, God has destroyed nations for His people,
He's done it before, so why not again?
the thing was this, these were His very chosen people that were murdering His son.
and God loved us much,
more than His own son.

and this was His way of showing His love, by bridging the gap.

He ran to us.

Love & Compassion.
i want to do things out of that.
Help me Lord.
