grrrreat!

finally blogging.

decided to press the "stop" button in my life... to reflect and ponder...
to make some heart felt decisions... and to let go.

it was pain.. as God washed through my mind.. cleared it and made me see what i was doing despite my resistance for change.
made me see things i was hesitant to see.
i repented on some of things on my mind

God revealed some of the thoughts/feelings i had for certain people were not healthy and its affecting me the way i see and approach them.

assumption is my biggest enemy here in my mind. where'd one would assume how the person thinks of you just by observing how he/she reacts.
thats a no no.

as i thought through the different persons.... the things in common they share, what about them made me felt that way.. and as i did.. more of what God wanted to show me became more dominent.

it was pain... but i'm glad :)
all i could do was sing to God... haha.. as i poured it out all in a song ..
it was much better :)
and i thank God for preparing me and not to concern myself too much over it..
He's been preparing me for the future.
Helped me set standards... helped me to see more.

Thanks Dad.
i lay it all down before You.
You already have the perfect plan for me

IT WAS GREAT~!
had alot of fun there~

anyways.. here's a recap from friday >_<

Friday:
constantly reminded myself that i have a seminar to attend to for fear i'll forget haha
livi decided to join in on the last moment as daniel couldn't make it since he was involved for music practise.
She'd be taking his place and decided to name herself Danielle.
The seminar wasn't as crowded as expected
roy couldn't make it sadly due to setup of equipments for practise
One of the instructor was talking about the "DISC" personlity traits and livi commented: "Ooo I'm an "S"" (Say it out loud to yourself and you'll understand)
hahaha!
anyways the seminar was really great~!
how to help the wounded and overloaded.
learnt how to say "No." Jesus never did helped everyone on earth and rested.
where to draw the line and set the boundary between ministry life and personal life.
learnt that if the person you're counceling isn't responing well.. don't take it personally. Alot of people do and it causes fustration.
what causes people to be "spoilt" through their family.
when gathering info, don't ask "Why?"
Leading people and parent people are different things, don't spoil them by doing things for them but instead, guide and show them how. (something i'm guilty of -_-)
how to handle during crisis.
during the Q&A session someone popped an interesting question which i also wanted to ask but totally forgot.
and i asked Mira (one of the instructors) personally after class..
about helping someone who was suffering from schizophrenia
how to handle, how to cope, what stories to believe?
i know someone who is like that and i really want to help that person more effeciently. It gets tiring cuz it always goes round in circles :(
she told me the best i can do is ask if the person is on medications and if not, refer to medical help... its hard.. but i'll do what i can. :)
met up with good ol' Gemia aka Wei Ling after that and headed to nexus america room.
we did some catching up and sharing :) same ol' her :p hahaha (btw FYI: she was my ex-shepherd) talk and talk and talk... i always get bullied by her.. -_- (i can picture her laughing as she reads this) teased me about my *ahem* love *ahem* life..
i should get back at her one day :P wahahahaha
after practise we gathered at fat mama's to makan
roy,me,daniel,jacob,jon lee, wei ling and livi.
took a cab home after that.
prepared some service stuff and off to lala land.

Sat:
Snapshot competition! hahaha!
recieved quite a few submissions (though not as many as i thought)
some last min add ins and off to show it to the audience~ :)
hope everyone enjoyed it!
Sang a new praise song which i thought it was so funny i couldn't stop laughin >_<
sermon for 2nd ss was hilarious!! laughed and laughed wahahahaha

after everything we began asking around if anyone was interested to catch Charlie and the chocolate factory.
asked shirls to help us get tix and went for makan
she sms livi back sayin that she couldn't get tix at PS sadly..
BUT!
we managed to get tix at shaw towers~!!
Davin, joesph, shirls, shu zhen, ethan, livi, hendra, xin li (i dunno if thats how you spell her name >_<) and me~
rushed dinner and went off to catch the 9pm show
The show was G R E A T ~ !
couldn't stop smiling throughout the show~ :D
johnny depp was gooooooooooood!
loved his portrayal of Willy Wonka~ his denial... his child-like-ness... everything!
the script was good
the songs were interesting~ :)

overall i enjoyed it~
good job tim burton.

on the way home shirls made a shocking request to davin as we passed by stamford hotel
"Davin! Lets stay over tonight~!"
O_o *DonG*
all of us were shocked hahaha
but what she meant to say was
"Hey! Lets everyone stay over tonight and Davin will foot the bill!"
BIG differance right? -_-u

Sun:
There was no cg today. Jospeh wanted to try out Carl's jr burgers and asked people along. Woke up late and went there to see them with an empty tray (they ate finished) and was about to leave.. -_- we then met a stoned livi on the way and she decided to tagged along (she was thinkin of going back).
met yau guo @ PCC and chilled out there
roy and hendra soon came along after their class

went out with roy to buy gifts for the upcoming retreat. wanted to ask livi along but then i think she didn't know what i was talking about -_-u
anyways we went to cineleisure to hunt them.
bought some interesting gifts~! hhahahaha love the sticks~!
the rest came to join us and we went to makan

left for PS to meet tay to watch wedding crashers.
its reallllly FUNNY!!! but downright sick! NC16 for a gooood reason... though i thought it should be like m18-R(A) just for that 2 particular scenes!!!
its a very "guy" show. not really meant for girls, seriously.

on the way back... thought alot about certain suff...
suddenly became overwhelmed by the thought.. and was sad..
roy was sharing to me on the journey this afternoon about it..
i didn't really thought too much about it... (neither have i for alot of things..)
was down :(
arrived home and made a resolve to embrace it :)
its going to be hard... but God's grace is enough.

Mon:
woke up late again... -_-u
wanted to blog today but was caught up chatting to alot of people...
finally decided to pop the question to weirdy.
its been affecting me quite a fair bit..
i thank her for her honesty :)
finally at ease with the issue (though not solved but getting somewhere~)
wanted to join the people at night instead of meeting the others earlier at harbour front cuz i was chatting with her
o well.
can't wait for the retreat tonight~! :D

met joseph @ harbor front mrt and we went in to sentosa.
got a lil lost but finally met roy who brought us to the chalet..
loads of wulu wulu places.. like very haunted :arrived at the chalet and cleaned up the place
joseph went down to bring up eugene and davin
we then went down to the beach to stock up on fooood & drinks & ice cream (YEAH!)
walked around and went back up to play some PS2 wahahaha
joseph taught me and davin a quick tutorial about mahjong hahahaha!
left for dinner.
walk walk to bk and da bao back..
decided to wait for the rest who were coming from harbour front.
we brought them along the short cuts to the "chalet" and they were thinking "Is that our chalet?!" hahaha haunted house

went back and... HAVOC! hahaha no lah... played mahjong hahahaha played ps2
makan... etc etc
had fun playing mahjong hahahaha!!
had a funny time playing SC2 with daniel and his "voldo" :D
Jasmine, steven and bernice came by to stay for the night too~
went up and decided to do some drawings..
but some of them wanted to sleep so... went outside to draw.
just wanted to spend some time alone.. :)
haven't done that~ it was nice outside~
drew a lil before livi came along with the guitar
she also wanted time to think and pray(?)

decided to draw out the journal of what happened hahaha :)
(i haven't blogged for awhile!!)
thought and reflect some stuff... hahaha very fun but sadly was quite distracted and couldn't focus... due to my self conscience side of me... prayed against it and just focused on God....
went back in to play crash burnout with daniel and joel!!
hahahaha FUN!!!!!! :D

slept at about 4am >_<

Tues:
woke up at 830.... -_- ....
bathed and went downstairs to eat some "breakfast"
hahaha everyone was dazed :P
some of us went down to fetch geoffery
after that went down to 7-11 to get some drinks and went back up again
the rest of the awam people soon joined us :D
had a good time with the games and stuff

filling ourself with God's love daily is important
putting God in the center.
daily repentance is essential
don't be just happy with where you are, seek to constantly want to do more.
the reality of God.
worship is a sung prayer
worship is not an emotion but a focus.

had praying and propechy and i stepped up.
i wanted refreshment, badly
God was speaking to me during worship about the same area too..
and they propecied over me

wow.

simply wow.

i cried.

God spoke to me strongly about my vision and my future.
enlarge it, stretch it.
be refreshed.

i couldn't stop tearing.... haha

went out for lunch after all that :)
came back for the best of the best award~

livi had problems stopping the swing cuz the ants were under her hahaha

went back in to play UNO!!!
wahahahahahahaha
it was a 4vs2 match haha ;)

and after it all.. it was finally home.
squeezed abt 10+++ people in the truck man hahaha
we looked like illegal immigrants trying to enter singapore via sentosa

went home and dozed off for about an hour before playing DotA with the dota gang hahaha! we have a new comer too!! :D
enjoyed.

Wed:
today... as i was blogging this.. tay decided to make his way here thus resulting in me unable to finish this earlier
daniel called me out to makan at chomp chomp with winnie at 6
ate ALOT!!!!!!! O_O
here's what we ordered
2 HUGE cups of sugarcane
6 chicken drumsticks
15 satay (mixed of chicken and pork)
1 stingray (medium size according to Daniel)
18 chee kwei (it was delicious! though it was extremely oily)
2 plates of rice

waahhh... ate so much man... but enjoyed haha
talked alot about ywam hahaha very funny
talked to winnie about drama and mm

had a great time.

home and here i am.
Bao's asking people out to watch land of the dead tomorrow.
(And you thought the fun ends today... hahaha WRONG!)
