been a not-so-good week for me though monday was great but yeah :had loads of stuff on my mind.
anyways here's monday.

my com finally breathed it's last and died without a proper goodbye :(
well.. its been like 5++ yrs?
he's been good :p
was quite sad.. o wells.
was intending to stay home throughout the day..
bro bought 2 new games~! wahahaha very fun~~
steven called me the previous night to ask if i had anyone coming down for the day's disciplship class, he needed help to film down.
told him that i'll ask my guys and so began a desperate attempt to ask and hope that my people are going.. (i know.. i'm lazy >_<) but to no avail.. it seems i couldn't find anyone... wanted to tell him that i couldn't find anyone and hope he found someone else but nah.. i decided to go down and help. (despite that lazy side of me screaming) besides, i'm sure its gonna be interesting :) i wanna learn from it too~

shirley kept teasing that i've not found my identity and was there to do so.. -_-u
o well~
the seminar was great~!
learnt some stuff~
changed mindsets
and God reinforced some areas :)

What you hide about yourself in front of others is who you are and you shouldn't be afraid of that.
God made you unique ;)

Self protection and love are opposites. You cannot love someone and still protect yourself. Love is not selfish but selfless.
self protecting in a way so as not to cause trouble is also not right.
God doesn't like it when you close up, protect yourself and say things you don't mean eg. your friend hurts you emotionaly but you tell him/her that you're ok.
Tell them the truth, it is an act of love to be honest with one another and to also help develop this area.

False humility. No no.
God delights when you're happy with your gifts! don't trash it!
How would you react when someone praises you for your work? eg. ushering, mm, sound,etc
"aww its nothing la..."
"aiyah where got...?"
and so on.
You know how God feels about that?

the speaker shared this story:
Imagine its your friend's birthday and you searched high and low for a present.
After awhile, you finally found a vase which is very beautiful and nice and decided to get it for your friend.
Your friend accepts it and places it in the room happily.
Outside, you overheard you friend talking with another person.
Person: Wow! Thats a very nice vase! Where did you get it?
Friend: aww.. its just something I found outside.. haha

how would you feel?

Thats how God feels.

Delight in the gifts God has given us!


Everyone has different wants but probably the same needs (love).

Depression is a sin. Because you're too abosorbed with yourself, you close up and bitterness seeps in.

ultimately we are all a child of God.
He loves and forgives unconditioningly.

after that.. went to meet susi at esplanade to teach her photography~
was rather interesting and fun :D
taught her alot of things...
shutter, aperture, ISO, lenses, exposures, metering, depth of field
let her tired out the zoom lens (75-300mm) :D
was fun~
took some photos too~ will post it up tmr!

came back and makan
my eldest bro dropped by home and we talked more about cameras~
learnt some new stuff too haha
lenses attached to dslr cameras have to X1.5 for the lens (eg. 25-55mm = 38.5-82.5)
learnt that positive films are cheap to develop but not enlarge (3R = $8 per piece)
he has a macro lens
he had a fisheye lens but sold away hahaha
he has a TLR
learnt that medium format cameras are actually not as expensive except for the digital back >_<
learnt that enlargers are also not that ex as i thought it would
a canon macro lens (110mm) would cost about $100 i think
prime lenses are kings and the likes
some lenses cost an arm and a leg ($1200 for a lens)
