o wells... onto my life

phew fasting from games and anime is not easy O_o
been 1 week and 4 days...
i've never had so much time hahaha
(shows i spend loads of my time on those 2)
thus allowing me to concentrate and do other things :)
been doin loads of 3d stuff this week..
i'll probably switch to illustrator next week since i've not touched it for a while

God has been workin in my life durin this period..
seeing myself seeking Him more and expecting more (faith) :)
though its quite an uncertain period for me cuz i've yet to recieve my letter..
but praise God still :)

but God jus gave me 2 ideas to work upon :D

recently went jogging(!!) with my shepherd
hahahaha about time i must say :p
been too lazy bleagh..
he came over to my place in the mornin
we took the jogging path stan & i used to take long ago
ran till i couldn't feel my legs at all
but i survived longer than my last try~~!! wahahaha
eugene said that the whole jog was just a warm up for him.......
i was exhausted.... -_-

just watched this on mtv this afternoon
was a very nice documentry!!
powerful...
i nearly teared just by the images... (good music too)
sad how people "refused" to wake up to the disease
even though it was discovered 4-6 yrs prior..
more than tens of thousands death after..
reminded me of the peopel of israel who were stubbon and refused to listen to God
it was like a tabboo to speak of it then..
the thing that made people feel easy to speak of it? decided to wake up and do something about it?
an mtv.

the people could relate to it easily..
just like how we relate to certain lyrics of a song very easily
art was used to speak to a deaf audience.
something i hold strongly and stand up for.
art is a strong force and not to be looked down upon
even Jesus spoke in parables to his audience
sure he could be straight to the point and blunt
but no, he chose to speak in parables. (to me parables are like simple literature, art)

during the aids epidemic, the news were telling how dangerous it was, it could happen to anyone and blah...
but no, they didn't listen.
music, they did.

Jesus spoke in parables because He knew that the people wouldn't listen if they were told off suddenly about their sins and such, just like how one would naturally defend when being scolded. i would :p
so He spoke with stories :)

i'll use art for Him.
its something He enforced and reminded me alot of times.
