brief update

yes, i'm a few months late but lets track back to where i left off in life :p

My POP day was a lil unique for me
a sad yet happy day
happy we're leaving
sad we're leaving
the atmosphere was kinda weird haha
no one talked about after POP
we just wanted to enjoy our remaining times together
we didn't want to be reminded that we'd be parting ways


and soon came to the big day itself
during the parade
the family members of us privates-to-be are asked to come down
to the parade square to put our jokey caps on for us
it was the moment we all waited for (kinda)
as the music played and the family members reunited
i stood there... alone
seeing others gathering and hugging their family and taking pictures
i was thinking if my parents came after all i did told mum not to come
cuz i wasn't going to be in the main parade
i waited


no one.


and so along came my platoon sergeant
he was shocked to see me alone and tried looking out for my parents
"Will the family members please slowly proceed back to their seats, so that the parade will commence." came the speaker
so my sergeant was like oh no.. poor you..
thus he decided to put my cap on me instead hahahahahaha!!!!!!
another sergeant came by and together they both put my cap on me.
what a way to end my recruit days!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

turned out my parents did came~
they went to the wrong company -_-

tekong's a beautiful place. seriously.
its quiet and has beautiful skies.
you can't find that in singapore.

anyways lets skip my holidays and on to my new vocation
i'm a signaller.
where one carries a radio pack and chiong with the rest of his mates
ensuring communication throughout the field

but something happened.
the first day i went in with the others carrying all our "luggage"
one of the officers asked
"who here can do multimedia?"
i was praying to God for that question haha
and i immediatedly raised my hands
now i'm doing video and designing :D
thats a miracle only God can make happen.

work is quite tough though
sometimes i work as late till 9pm >_<
but i love the environment.
God never fails to put someone i know with me :)
there's zhi chong and gimson around from my tekong days
and there's darren from sunday svc~!
God is great.
