personally

recieved a surprise call from a good friend, han, of mine during army days,
he's someone whom i got to click well rather fast when i was posted to nsc,
very friendly and sincere guy! best thing, he's an arts student LOL! i found that out only later though

he's someone who inspired me to go the extra mile as i see him pave his own way through the things he does, have his own book, go for competitions, exposure, etc
always talked about experimenting new things and showcasing of works
as an artist, you'd definitely want to showcase your latest works to everyone and even more so to the people who have similar interest and such, not that i'm a praise seeker or what, i too enjoy showing my latest works now and then, get feedbacks and improve on it
its like going to sch, where we bring our works and show the rest, we enjoy doing so cuz its appreciated.
anyways, this friend of mine is an amazing photographer. i always enjoy looking at his photos! its really nice. his quirky behavior was also rather entertaining as well!

i looked up to him for that

he called me this mornin sayin he was surprised when he heard that i was joinin this company (he linked me up with the boss on a previous freelance project last year)
as he had a higher expectation of me to starting work in a bigger company
i didn't thought of that actually,
what mattered more to me then, was to find a place i can do everything first as a starting ground and also explore more too and hearing about the directions of the company, i decided why not, since i've worked with them before.
i thanked han though for his concern in me going into this when i could go somewhere else.
so i asked him how was life on his side and he surprised me by telling me he's seeking for his direction in life as well
where to move on/branch out to

really talented guy, does exhibitions, photos, won competitions, etc
i guess he, like me, have many interest and things that we want to try our hand into
but not sure where to start..

he had to do something else before we could carry on.

it's jus nice knowing that whereever you are, whatever you're facing, you ain't alone in it :)
