the end of a melancholy?

i've recently been indulging in a series
livi lent me last week
The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
and its..
GREAAATTTT!!!!
its very niceeee!
very funny too!!!
gosh i've not enjoyed an anime like this
for a looooong time
and also reminds myself why i'm doin
what i've been doin :)
dunno how to describe it though haha
i jus love the characters
and the detail of animation put in
story is ridiculous though i wished it was real
as kyon says it in the "1st episode"
reality is rather cruel.
and i can so relate to the characters haha!
its quite realistic actually hahaha
cuz i see a part of me in them..
a child who wishes to stay there and not grow..
who wants an adventure but refuses to admit
that in life, its not possible.
a dreamer.
and i used to do stupid things like haruhi
hahaha! in fact i still do -_-

i really love the level of detail they've put in
like lip syncing of songs
smooth animations of playin instuments
(a first time for me seeing it)
the creative way of showing an "amateur" film
which got me laughing all the way spotting out
all the stupid little mistakes!!
they've an eye for detail
even the relationships between characters are well done
and if u watch it in the proper order of episodes
i was "OHHH!!! yaaaaaa! now i see it!!"

its a good show.
livi called me weird but i can't help it.

i got so bored about this place that i decided to go to
overseas to experience new things
(eg. floods, earthquakes, riots)
those stories i hear from my friends from indo
never cease to excite me
sure.. hearing about it and being in one is
diefferent... definitely.
but i want to experience ittt!!
singapore's too safe here >_<
its boring hahahaha


and u noe,
i thought i was one of those few people who enjoyed the show
those few unique people who could identify
i thought i was one of those special few haha..
but just typing "haruhi-ism" in google shocked me.
its like there's a cult following after her
its everywhereee!

everyone is crazy over it

and suddenly it wasn't so special anymore....

its no longer unique to me anymore....

then again... these shows are meant to reach to the world...


from that website.. is just one of the examples of what animation/manga
can do to people.

and thats why i'm here.. doing the very thing i've enjoyed
and make a difference.


i still hope they make a 2nd season?
or maybe i should get the manga haha
the child in me still refuses to admit defeat :P
